Toughened glass (also called tempered glass) is a safety glass treated with controlled thermal heat. It is 4–5 times stronger than regular annealed glass and safely crumbles into small, blunt granules if broken.

• Strength & Safety: It withstands high impact and temperatures up to 250°C. The small, cube-like broken pieces vastly reduce the risk of deep cuts.

• Permanence: Once toughened, the glass cannot be cut, drilled, or altered. All sizing and shaping must be done prior to the thermal treatment.
